Shanez Signature Series

Spicy Beef Jerky Seasoning

Made for Malt Vinegar Marinades

Make bold, flavoursome homemade beef jerky with the perfect balance of savoury seasoning, smoky depth and spicy heat.

Shanez Signature Series Spicy Beef Jerky Seasoning is an original Shanez Spicez blend created specifically to combine with malt vinegar. It produces a richly seasoned marinade that coats thinly sliced beef beautifully before cooking and drying in a jerky machine or dehydrator.

This full-flavoured blend has a warm reddish-brown colour with a light scattering of cayenne flakes for added texture. The malt vinegar brings a distinctive tang that complements the savoury, smoky and spicy seasoning without overpowering the beef.

Regular Spicy Heat

The standard blend delivers noticeable chilli heat while still keeping the flavour of the beef, garlic, pepper, smoke and spices at the forefront.

For customers who like their jerky hotter, additional heat levels can be made to order:

• Jalapeño Hot
• Habanero Hot
• Carolina Reaper Hot
How to Make Beef Jerky

For every 1 kg of thinly sliced lean beef, combine:

• 50 g Shanez Signature Series Spicy Beef Jerky Seasoning
• 80 mL malt vinegar
• 20 mL water

Place the sliced beef into a non-reactive bowl or food-safe container.

Combine the seasoning, malt vinegar and water, then pour the prepared marinade over the beef.

Mix thoroughly until every piece is evenly coated.

Cover and refrigerate for 8–12 hours. Turn or mix the beef occasionally so the marinade is distributed evenly.

Remove the beef from the marinade and allow the excess liquid to drain away.

Arrange the strips in a single layer in your jerky machine or dehydrator without overlapping.

Cook and dry according to your machine manufacturer’s instructions until safely cooked and dried to your preferred jerky texture.

Allow the finished jerky to cool completely before storing.
