Xanthan Gum thickens up your dishes or baked goods and helps to bind ingredients together and keep them soft once baked.


Xanthan Gum is commonly used in gluten free recipes to help hold together baked goods (due to flour not being present or basically a substitute for gluten).


Xanthan can be used in: sauces, breads, baked good, cakes, improve ice-cream texture


Xanthan Gum is a cream to tan coloured powder.

It is a high molecular weight polysaccharide produced by viscous fermentation. 


It is soluble in hot and cold water, but is insoluble in alcohol.
