I love this recipe for as it's simplicity of ingredients with limited time spent in the kitchen. Great as a snack and for dunking in milk or a hot drink!

Easy Bake Ginger Biscuits

Number of servings: 24

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 10-15 minutes

Ingredients

You will need:

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180ºC. Grease 2 biscuit trays.

  2. In a saucepan over medium heat melt butter, golden syrup and caster sugar until the sugar has dissolved.

  3. Pour the melted butter mix into a bowl with the flour and ginger and mix thoroughly.

  4. Roll into small balls, flatten with a fork, place on biscuit trays and bake for 10-12 minutes for a softer, chewier biscuit or 15 minutes for a crunchier biscuit.

Biscuits will be soft when first taken out of the oven but will become firmer as they cool.

Enjoy them plain or alternative, lightly dust biscuits with sugar or drizzle with melted chocolate.
